Quality Initiative Summer Book Club

Join us this summer as we dive into the important concepts of equity and inclusion through a facilitated book club discussion of "Equity Talk, Equity Walk: Expanding Practitioner Knowledge for Racial Justice in Higher Education" by Tia Brown McNair, Estela Mara Bensimon, Lindsay Malcom-Piqueux. This engaging book offers practical strategies for fostering a more equitable campus community and will directly inform our upcoming Data-Informed DEI Quality Initiative project.

What to Expect:

  • Thoughtful Discussions: Engage in meaningful conversations about key equity concepts and their application in higher education.

  • Connection to existing DEI initiatives at WSU: Explore how the book's insights can guide our collective efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion at WSU.

  3. Read the assigned chapter before each meeting.
  4. Come prepared to share your reflections and engage in thoughtful dialogue.
